Valentine Day at Social Media

With social networks being powerful like search engines now, I observed that on the Valentine Day social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus and Video sharing sites were as colorful as the nearby Mall. I observed some lovely pictures, people sharing stories, love quotes and even posting what they got as valentine day gifts.

Here are some highlights of the this year Valentine day as observed by Perry Belcher over social networks:

@Facebook:

• A pic was posted titled Grumpy Cat. In the picture of the cat it was written "If you are SAD about being alone on Valentine's day, Just remember................................... No one loves you on the other days of the year" 
• Second intersting share over facebok regarding valentines day was a story of old man who was trying hard to find a valentine day, on reading the complete story is was found that his wife died three years ago and every year he buy roses and cards on the day and bring those to her grave. 

@Twitter:

• Guy Kawasaki share some tips for singles for the valentine day
• Yemi Alade share a valentine day letter
• I can't recall but someone posted proposal rejection prank as well and it was funny
•  Few people spend the day on twitter only

@Google plus:

• All I remember is the nice pics of roses all over google plus and some youtube videos as well.

Benefits of video promotions

Perry Belcher Skydiving Video

Sharing my skydiving video in this post. It was an amazing experience, jumping from the aircraft, flying like a bird and then land on the ground. Until my first experience with skydiving I've seen people doing skydiving on TV, movies or some air force shows only.

Search engine algorithmic changes in 2013

Hi Friends,

First of all wish you all a very happy new year 2013 from Perry Belcher. I hope you all had a great 2012 and best wishes for a successful and healthy 2013 to you and your family.

In the year 2012 we saw lots of algorithmic changes done by Google by the name of Penguin and Panda updates. Almost after every one or two weeks there was a major or minor algorithmic update tweak done by the giant search engine.

Many people said that 2012 for a very difficult year for the search engine optimization professionals, however it’s not true. Algorithmic changes are never bad for white hat SEOs but all who get effected mostly from the changes and spammers or people who just don’t know what SEO is all about. If you optimize your website to humans and provide quality stuff over your site for the visitors your website will automatically find its way to top of search engine rankings. This is all SEO is all about make your site search engine compliance and post quality stuff for your website visitors.

Now let’s talk about algorithmic changes in 2013: I guess there won't be major algorithmic changes by Google in the year 2013 but definitely focus would be to provide results from sites that are fast, popular over social networks, share by a large group. Overall SEO and SMO will have to complement each other. I predict there will be very less chances of cookie clutter pages ranking in first page of Google like what we have observed in the past.
